Coumba Traore

Coumba Traoré joined Muso in 2017 as Financial Manager, and since 2019, she has served as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer. She has over 15 years of professional experience in accounting and finance, notably in the health, aviation, and construction sectors, having worked in Canada, the United States, and Africa.

Her professional background reflects diverse expertise, ranging from implementing nonprofit structures in new countries to strategic planning, project management, process optimization, financial management, budgeting, cash management, internal auditing, regulatory compliance, capacity building for teams, and stakeholder relations across various sectors.

She holds an MBA in Business Administration from Shenandoah University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Kennesaw State University. Additionally, she has obtained various certificates in financial management and taxation, along with a certificate in Law and Child Protection, demonstrating her commitment to continuous education and professional development.
